On July 22 at 3:23 p.m., an individual entered a business in the 1500 block of South Fern Street, went behind the counter and allegedly began stealing merchandise, police said.
When an employee attempted to stop the suspect, a struggle ensued, police said. The suspect pushed and kicked the employee before fleeing on foot.
Responding officers located the suspect – 43-year-old Sonny Haury of Morrow, Ga. – nearby. He was charged with robbery and was held without bond.
