DOWNEY-After her son was found living in the storage room of the Eden Roc apartment, Congresswoman Catherine Alvarez was interrogated for unauthorized move-in earlier this year.

According to law enforcement documents, officials have received several complaints about people sleeping in closets in the laundry room of the apartment complex.

Upon inspection, officials found "a man about 21 years old was lying on a bed that looked like two large plastic storage containers and a piece of wood", along with some blankets and pillows.

The report went on to state that the individual identified as Lenn Jhon Alvarez stated that he “cannot live in his mother’s apartment”.

The officials ordered him to take away his personal belongings and return two hours later to make sure the space had been vacated.

A month later, law enforcement received a new complaint that the same person was living in the storage room again, adding that they would discard used condoms and smoke marijuana in the small storage room.

After returning, the officials once again found LennJhon living in this space, with the same layout as before, as well as several shoe boxes and bags of clothes.

According to reports, Lenn Jhon claimed that “his mother and her dog are in the living room and he is not allowed to stay in her apartment”.

When faced with this problem again, the report stated that Alvarez responded that Lenn Jhon was an adult and she could not control him, adding that he had taken the key to the storage room from the house.

According to Downey Police Chief Leslie Murray (Leslie Murray), the matter has been investigated by the Downey Police Department and the case has been closed because the officers found no basis to support the allegations of negligence or harm.

Alvarez, LennJhon and Andres Delgado, the apartment manager of Eden Roc, were all cited.

These quotations were first discovered by supporters of Alvarez's recall effort.

Alvarez refused to reply directly to the two emails from Downey Patriots requesting comment, but chose to make his own statement.

Alvarez wrote in the statement: "My son is an adult, and adults do not always consult their parents about their living arrangements." "I reiterate that my child and I were homeless five times due to hospitalization, unemployment, etc. To be fair, we don’t always have our own roof. I run on a platform to support tenants, landlords and small business owners.

"I think that your focus on the homeless experience of me and my family is the real reason for deliberately distracting many Downey youths from being homeless: the rent is too high, if my parliament colleagues vote with me, they These rents can be reduced. Why don’t you ask them why they don’t support these policies to help our community?"
