A Detroit man was charged with a felony and two misdemeanors. The police said that after he tried to beat a police officer, they had to restrain him, but he was wanted by six pending arrest warrants.

Police said the 29-year-old suspect, Danzel Andrews, had a fight with another acquaintance near Sixth Street and Washington Avenue at around 1:30 am on November 14.

Another man told the police that he was trying to calm the suspect down. Police said the suspect walked away and started yelling at strangers.

"The officer told him to settle down," Royal Oak Police Lieutenant Albert Carter said. "The suspect pushed the officer and tried to hit him, but it didn't hit him."

The police said they must restrict Andrews. Andrews was arrested for urinating in public and disturbing the law and order on charges of engaging in prostitute services.

Andrews is wanted for warrants in Hazel Park, Detroit, Romulus, and Oak Park.

The police are investigating a case where a man's wallet was stolen from a BP gas station at 28992 Woodward Avenue.

The theft occurred around 2 pm on November 13th.

The police said that the owner of the wallet left it on the counter at the station and returned to retrieve it shortly afterwards and found that the wallet was missing.

Surveillance video of the theft showed an elderly male picking up a wallet and putting it in his pocket.

The police said the old man was a frequent visitor to the gas station.

The police received reports that between November 12 and 17, three vehicles were stolen and that someone overturned the container in the fourth vehicle.

These reports follow a series of recent thefts of unlocked vehicles in Royal Oak and neighboring cities, where three people were charged with felony charges here and Berkeley.

In the most recent incident, the police alleged that someone stole a $200 gift card from a car in the 900 block of Sunnybrook, a bowling ball and shoes in the 1300 block of Amelia, and a knife and vehicle documents from a car in the 1,000 block. Ottawa .

Around November 10, the police claimed that someone had turned over about 20 unlocked vehicles in Royal Oak.

She told the police that when she came back, she found that the mobile phone and the homeless woman were missing.

The police said that surveillance video showed that the homeless woman took the phone and left.
